March was a transformative month for SingularityNET, marked by significant progress across multiple fronts. We surpassed the milestone of 100,000 AGIX holders, further strengthening our community of believers in decentralized, beneficial Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). A landmark development in March was the announcement of the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance a multi-billion token merger between SingularityNET, Fetch.ai, and Ocean Protocol. This alliance establishes the largest open-sourced, decentralized network dedicated to accelerating AGI and, soon after, the development of Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) for the benefit of humanity and other sentient beings. By leveraging blockchain technology, this merger aims to mitigate the risks of centralized control over emerging AGI technology and reinforces a decentralized AI ecosystem.
We are also proud to sponsor the 17th Annual AGI Conference (AGI-24), set to be held August 1316, 2024, at the University of Washington in Seattle. AGI-24 welcomes researchers and practitioners to submit papers for consideration.
As we approach the Alpha release of OpenCog Hyperon, we launched SingularityNETs Technical Tuesdays. This series provides insights into our OpenCog Hyperon framework for AGI and how it translates into systems ready to tackle real-world problems.
To commemorate International Womens Day, we celebrated the achievements of women leading the way in technology. SingularityNET champions diversity and equality in the pursuit of a Beneficial Singularity. We also held a series of Supervisory Council Community Workshops, providing a platform for collaboration and growth within our community.

In March, we announced a multi-billion token merger with decentralized AI industry leaders Fetch.ai, a Web3 platform for the new AI economy, and Ocean Protocol, a decentralized data exchange platform to protect data.
This first-of-its-kind merger establishes the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance the largest open-sourced, decentralized network focused on accelerating the development of decentralized Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and, subsequently, Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) in the interest of humanity and other sentient beings.
The founding members of the Alliance, Dr. Ben Goertzel, Humayun Sheikh, and Bruce Pon, anticipate that within 3 to 8 years, we will see the emergence of software systems with human-level AGI capabilities. A few years later, such AGI systems could evolve into ASI.
While these advancements hold tremendous potential, they also carry significant risks, such as the potential for centralized entities with vested interests to control emerging AGI technology. Our three-way token merger with Fetch.ai and Ocean Protocol is designed to mitigate these risks and work toward broadly beneficial AGI outcomes through the reinforcement and acceleration of a decentralized AI and AGI ecosystem.
By leveraging blockchain technology, decentralized AI transforms opaque AI systems into open networks for coordinating machine intelligence toward shared objectives. Combining SingularityNETs, Fetch.ais, and Ocean Protocols research, brands, technologies, and products lays the groundwork for a scalable AI infrastructure guided by ethical and trustworthy practices.

As we approach the Alpha release of OpenCog Hyperon, we kicked off SingularityNETs Technical Tuesdays, a technical series exploring the OpenCog Hyperon framework for AGI and how we are translating our AGI R&D ideas into advanced systems ready to deal with real-world use cases.
The first live session titled Building Beneficial AGI With OpenCog Hyperon featured an insightful discussion on Hyperons core components between CEO Dr. Ben Goertzel, Chief AGI Officer Dr. Alexey Potapov, CSO Dr. Matt Ikle, and Marketing Lead Haley Lowy.
In the second live session titled Technical Progress Toward Beneficial AGI, COO Janet Adams was joined by Chief AGI Officer Dr. Alexey Potapov, CSO Dr. Matt Ikle, Hyperon Project Manager Vita Potapova, and the CEO of F1R3FLY.io Greg Meredith to explore the technical advancements of the OpenCog Hyperon AGI framework, including advancing Hyperons cognitive components and implementing scalability improvements at all computational levels.
In March, we presented the first edition of the biweekly technical development update of our Decentralized AI Platform, highlighting the significant progress made across core components, including the Marketplace, Publisher, Daemon, CLI & SDK, and Listener.
March 8th marks International Womens Day a day where we unite to celebrate womens achievements while looking ahead and working toward gender equality in all areas of life. In March, the SingularityNET Community was invited to participate in several workshops. One workshop, led by Nick Almond (Lead Writer of the Decentralization Blueprint), focused on defining the community onboarding process.
These workshops provided a platform for community members to shape the Communitys direction and goals. Discussions explored how the community can best support SingularityNETs growth and the overarching mission of developing Benevolent AGI.
The insights from these workshops will be instrumental in guiding the SingularityNET Communitys future. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed their valuable perspectives and we hope to see you again during the upcoming workshops.
During March, we took significant steps to deepen community involvement. 31 loyal community members have been granted governance power based on their engagement over the past six months. A vote on quarterly budget approvals is currently underway, representing the first exercise of this new community-driven governance model.
The program has established a closer working relationship with the Foundations marketing team to further community growth and engagement. Additionally, the Strategy Guild presented a decision-making tools analysis to Deep Funding, and the Education Guild continues its work creating infographics and videos on the wider SingularityNET ecosystem.
