This month, we announced a number of strategic partnerships aimed at strengthening our position as the leading decentralized AI platform and exploring new means of collaboration with renowned organizations and individuals for the development of innovative, beneficial AI solutions that can make a positive difference in the world:

• PureCipher: On August 14th, we announced Open AI Safety/Artificial Immune Systems (OpenAIS) — a community co-founded by SingularityNET, PureCipher, and the Machine Perception and Cognitive Robotics Laboratory (MPCRL) at The Florida Atlantic University to address rising safety concerns about the recent advancements of AI.
• EARTHwise: On August 17th, we announced a strategic partnership with EARTHwise to work closely on developing decentralized AI and gaming solutions and help accelerate the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
• World Mobile: On August 22nd, we announced a strategic partnership with World Mobile to develop innovative AI solutions for customer service and explore an exciting opportunity to develop AI micro-lending for their mobile customers. Learn more about what this partnership entails.
• Vechain: On August 25th, we announced a landmark partnership with Vechain to advance data-driven sustainability technology and deliver enterprise-quality AI solutions to help businesses embrace the combined values of blockchain and AI.
• HAQQ: On August 31st, we announced a strategic partnership with The Haqq Network to bring AI to Islamic finance markets and offer innovative decentralized solutions to support the global shift to ethical AI use.

Community DAO and Supervisory Council Elections Update

We were pleased to announce that Esther Galfalvi has accepted a role as Decentralization Program Lead. Esther will bring leadership and focus to our progressive decentralization efforts and help shape SingularityNET’s decentralization process for community governance of the SingularityNET project.

The next phase of SingularityNET’s progressive decentralization process is starting now with Supervisory Council (SC) elections, which will be held very soon. The renewed SC will form a conduit between the Foundation’s executive team and the community, facilitating communication, interoperation, the growth of decentralization, and alignment with our foundational values. This election marks the next important step toward global, democratized, decentralized governance of AGI. Members of the SC will be elected by the community, so it’s critical that everyone is involved.

Deep Funding Round 3

Deep Funding is taking innovation to a whole new level, empowering state-of-the-art AI projects and investing $1,530,000 in AGIX tokens to build the future of AI through a community-voted process.

Round 3 also signals a shift and a broadening of the Deep Fund process, including a pool to fund projects requested by the SingularityNET Foundation itself; these projects will form the bedrock of an exciting new direction within the SingularityNET project toward a knowledge layer for AI on blockchain. Knowledge Graphs and Knowledge Graph tooling will form the foundation of this emerging strategy, starting with this funding round.

• The CEO of Rejuve.BIO, Kennedy Schaal, conducted an interview with Longevity.Technology to discuss their open approach to human longevity research and highlight some of their latest advancements in the development of anti-aging and age-related disease therapeutics.

Rare Evo 2023

We were proud to attend Rare Evo 2023 in Denver, Colorado. Web3 thinkers, makers, doers, and creators gathered from all over the world to explore the future of blockchain, AI, interoperability, and the convergence of traditional industry with Web3 technology.

The event featured mainstage keynotes and innovation talks, technology demos, one-on-one meetings, networking opportunities, and immersive experiences. Janet shared the first preview of SingularityNET’s renewed Platform strategy — catch the announcement in her Rare Evo Mainstage talk!

Istanbul Blockchain Week

Thousands of crypto and blockchain enthusiasts from around the world gathered at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti on August 22–23 for the Istanbul Blockchain Week (IBW) 2023. The event’s agenda reflected the various discussions taking place across the Web3 space, with keynotes on AI, Metaverse, cryptocurrencies, NFTs, DAOs, DeFi, and Decentralized Gaming.

At the event, CMO Loic Claveau gave a keynote on the future of decentralized generative AI on blockchain, describing how important decentralized AI is, how individuals specialized knowledge is the key to unlocking AI’s next wave of potential, and how blockchain is the answer to a data-sharing economy that compensates data owners while protecting their privacy and data ownership. Blockchain is also the key to a fair distribution of the benefits of transformative technologies like AI and AGI.

Loic’s keynote was very well-received by the audience, generating excitement and enthusiasm for the potential of decentralized AI.
